Traditional Bulgarian cuisine is expanded here with several dishes characteristic of Reselets only which must be tasted. These include the famous onion pie which is made with eggs and cheese, in addition to the unique Reselets onions.
In the past, 13 fish species used to inhabit Rachene River and
were used by the locals for making a delicious fish soup which
could be tasted here only. Unfortunately, today there remain only
7 species but all these are used for the old recipe. They are
also used for making fish pie- whole belovka fish are placed between
two layers of dough.
Reselets specialties were tasted by the guests of the X International
Tourist Fair “Cultural Tourism”in April 2013 inVeliko Tarnovo
where the Project „Development of Tourist Attraction “Kaleto Tectonic
Ridge” was presented.
